Friday

After lunch, I rode my bike to exercise at Weaver Park, and when I finished, I met John on the Pinellas Trail to ride out to Honeymoon Island.

It was a gorgeous day: sunny and 86 degrees.

Cars were lined up to the drawbridge to get in to the park. We rode on by them all.

It was good to see that some sand remains after all of the winter storms.

The water was cold at first. It was very clear. People were out swimming.

John got this shot of a very large kite. Winds were blowing about 11-12 mph.

Toby enjoyed rubbing his belly on the freshly cut grass. Mas Fina came to cut our grass after skipping last week. It needed some time to grow after the winter months. The rough spots are beginning to fill in.

There’s a paddle boarder. He was moving fast.

And there’s a dolphin or two.

Sweet Toby getting a sun bath and a nap.

Today’s bike routes to Weaver Park and Honeymoon Island

Miles walked: 12.6
Miles biked: 15.45
