Friday

John and I rode our bikes to Weaver Park after lunch and did some exercise.

The high temperature today was 73 degrees, mostly sunny. It may sound crazy, but 73 degrees on a bike in a 7 mph breeze can be chilly, especially in the shade.

It's a great temperature for working out, however.

After exercising, I checked out the new lodgings for my family in May. The downtown place didn't work out because of the stairs. This duplex sits on the southeast corner of Weaver Park off Pershing Street.

Here's the view on Pershing down to Bayshore (Alt. 19) and St. Joseph Sound beyond. (The Victoria Condominiums from last year are just to the left at the stop sign at the end of this street.)

This is the view of the Pinellas Trail from the driveway of the unit, off of Pershing. (The trail is just beyond the reflectors.)

Here's the bike rack and front porch to the two units. Their unit will be the first one.

Here's the backside with a patio and shade awning. The other unit has a patio on the end of the building, next to the park.

Here's a view from the walkway in Weaver Park.

The Weaver Park restroom is to the left. You can consider this the second and third bathroom. 😀

Toby spent more time than usual in his crate, and he'll head back in there when we go to the party tonight down the street. However, he's had plenty of walks.

And got to have fun rolling in the grass.

This morning's causeway walk was nice after yesterday's rain.

We also went grocery shopping, went to the pet store, and we're on our way to a party down the street.

Today’s bike routes to the causeway, Weaver Park, downtown.

Miles walked: 15.5
Miles biked: 12.39
