The forecast was for heavy thunderstorms to move in at 10:45 a.m., so we changed up our normal routine. We took Toby for a quick walk in the neighborhood, and then the three of us got in the golf cart and headed downtown to check out "Posh by Lucky Puppies" as a possible doggie daycare. They do not take walk-in visits, so we called and left a message and expressed our interest. I forgot to take a picture, so I downloaded these from the Web. While we were downtown, we walked around to get some exercise before the rain came.
Next to Posh is Cafe Veskolini, which looks interesting. We also want to try The Wild Iris, and Mangoes and Marley: A Coastal Cafe in the same area.

The Honu Restaurant, around the corner on Grant Street, also looks interesting.
And we've never tried The Living Room on Main.
We headed home in time to avoid the rain, and it came on schedule, so we did what we usually do when it rains: clean house. After lunch, we took Toby in the golf cart to the community center. Then the rain returned off and on.
Toby woke us up this morning at 5:00 a.m. to throw up, just before the alarm went off. He regurgitated six pieces of plastic, each about the size of a dime. These were all parts of the toys he destroyed yesterday while we were being interviewed by the daycare provider. Four adults sat and talked while he devoured these bits of plastic. Had he not thrown them up, they could have easily blocked his colon and required surgery to remove. Lucky us.
On our last walk before sunset, the skies finally began to clear.
