Parakeets from our morning walk

Lake Saundra in the morning

We rode our bikes to the causeway and walked this morning. It was 66 degrees when we left and 71 degrees when we finished. The high temperature today was 80 degrees briefly. The breeze was blowing 12 mph.

Bikes have to be walked over the bridges now. It’s not a bad rule. It is a narrow bridge and sometimes bikers went too fast and sometimes walkers made unpredictable moves. It’s going to take a while for all the bikers to get the message, even though the signs are hard to miss.

On the way home from walking via the Pinellas Trail

After lunch, I rode my bike to Weaver Park to exercise. The peace pole has Ukrainian flags around it.

“May peace prevail on Earth”

Weaver Park from the Pinellas Trail

John opened the windows this afternoon to enjoy the fresh air. I pulled the dining room curtains to keep the afternoon sun out. When the breezes were strong, it pushed the curtains into the dining room. Toby freaked out. He thought we had an intruder. It kept him transfixed watching the curtains move in and out. He was on full alert. Growling and then scampering away when a big gust moved the curtains.

Today’s bike routes to the causeway and Weaver Park

Miles walked: 12.3
Miles biked: 10.82
