After lunch, the three of us rode downtown in the golf cart. This time, we took the Monroe Street golf cart crossing of Alt. 19 from downtown to Victoria Drive. Once we got on Victoria, we went south to Marina Park.
We walked around the park and then walked north along the water on Victoria Drive all the way to Weaver Park.
Then we took the Pinellas Trail south with a detour to Douglas.
On Douglas, Toby found self serve dog treats and water. He indulged himself, compliments of one of the stores near Nature’s Patch.
We got back on the trail and walked to Main and then took Main back to the marina.
Toby did great. It was very stimulating for him, lots of smells, dogs, people, etc.
On the way home, we stopped to help this young guy get his car out of the ditch. As we rounded the curve, he popped out and greeted us: “Hello, friends.” The back wheel was up in the air; the front one was over the ditch. (The picture above is from afterwards.)
After a couple of experiments, John suggested just pushing. That did it. The young man was very relieved and grateful to his new friends.
Noon walk with Toby. It was near 80 degrees and sunny.
Tiny little flowers 🌸
Toby got jealous of the little flowers. What about me?

John got this series of pictures of a bird eating a fish.
Down the hatch.

We rode our bikes to the causeway bridge this morning and walked the causeway. We saw this pirate ship anchored off shore. The temperature was in the mid 60s, and the wind was blowing 12 mph.
We took Toby on a last golf cart ride and walk at Stirling Park and then the Pinellas Trail from the park to the bridge over Curlew Creek. We both practiced commands with Toby from his next final exam. (We’re still on break from training.)
Miles walked: 12.0
Miles biked: 5.18
