Monday

Mom, Dad, and sister made it to Dunedin after a 12 hour trip from Winston Salem, NC. They came bundled up from the cold weather they left behind.

John and I rode our bikes to Frenchy's to meet them for dinner. Thanks to our iPhones, we were able to time it perfectly.

Today was another beautiful day.

We went to our first class of Advanced dog training (round two) after having a couple of months off. The last time we had a break we got slack on our training, and it was painful to resume. This time, we kept up the training, and it paid off. Our new class only has three dogs so it's less chaotic and we get more instruction. Toby did great on all the tasks and commands. It was a relief. We were a little uncertain how it would go. We were so focused that neither one of us took any pictures.

One of the other dogs was also in our last Advanced class. This makes the fifth time that dog has taken the course. She's a golden retriever, sweet as can be. The owner noticed Toby's improvement. The other dog is a first timer, a doodle puppy. The owner is taking the dog with her to college and is in a rush to get the dog ready.

Our causeway walk this morning was easy. It wasn't as hot as yesterday and there was a good breeze. Some days are easy; some days are hard.

Miles walked: 11.1
Miles biked: 4.4
