We rode our bikes to the causeway to walk this morning, trying the beat the heat advisory for later this afternoon.
There were lots of people on the water, and the entrance to Honeymoon Island State Park was backed up.
I think a pirate ran his sailboat aground. He seems to be commanding others to get him unstuck.
The kayak supply was dwindling.
We stopped at the bathhouse and cooled off in the outdoor shower going and coming. Then I got the bright idea to fill up the water bottle with cold water and dump it on our heads. Bracing and invigorating.
We took a ride in the go cart to Highlander Park to walk down our favorite shaded sidewalk in Dunedin. The temperature was in the low 90s, but the heat index was 104 degrees. We didn't get any rain today, but the chances look good for tomorrow.
We watched "Freud" on Netflix. It was interesting.
Miles walked: 10
Miles biked: 5.81
