Sunday

We had our first winter day of the season. Boo! The high temperature today was 59 degrees, but even worse, it rained all day. The skies were gray. It felt very much like North Carolina. Bone-chilling cold. John said today ranked in the top ten of the worst days since he's been here, including hurricanes.

We made the most of it. We had hot tea and did a lot of reading. At 2:00, we went to an open house on Ford in our neighborhood. We saw a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house, 2565 square feet, $769,000.

The outside was very nice, especially the screened in back patio with cathedral ceilings, overlooking the golf course.

The house had been completely remodeled. The stonework was very pretty. To me, the house would suit a mountain location.

It was nicely done. The style was very traditional and tasteful.
Here's the link (click here) to the listing in Zillow.

I worked on the puzzle. I'm getting close to finishing it. The closer I get, the harder it gets, which is the opposite experience with most puzzles.

We’ve all struggled to stay warm today.

  1. Our lowest temperature was 27. Talking about cold and the wind was like ice. We had such a hot summer we are not prepared for these temperatures. Churched this morning. Went to the grocery this afternoon. Cooking collards tonight for Thanksgiving meal. Love to all.
