Sunny and 80 degrees today, a bit less than that on this morning’s walk. We got stopped at the drawbridge.
We rode our bikes to Publix and walked the causeway from there and back. We got a late start because of the street work. We took Toby to Stirling Park this morning instead of the usual neighborhood walk. Not only are our streets torn up, there’s a lot of big truck traffic.
Chalk drawings on the causeway
Cute poodle, nice hat and glasses
Busy morning at Curlew
Our street is gone! A bumpy mess for now.
I made it to Weaver Park to exercise after lunch. It was a tough workout, but I gave it all I had.
Late afternoon, we took Toby to Highlander Park for a long walk after his dinner.
We looked into this choral concert on Feb. 26. It’s called Maestro’s Choice, an eclectic selection of songs. I think we’ll go to this one. John used to be in the Raleigh Oratorio before I met him. He’s got a great singing voice.
Today’s bike routes to Publix and Weaver Park
Miles walked: 9.3
Miles biked: 9.39

A new fact to me re John’s vocal talent. 👏👍 Proud of him. I bet there is a group that would welcome his talent. We had a pretty day today for a change. Neighbors “came out” in mass. Everyone was so glad to see each other. I trimmed my Rosemary plant on the front porch and used my blower on the front. I even left the front door open after lunch. Your front street looks like it will be perfectly replaced. Your photos make me realize I need to find some summer clothes. Yea! Love to all
