The mirror guy installed the mirror this morning.
I painted the new door stop wood molding in the bathroom and touched up the wall.
I repaired some bumps and scrapes from the laundry room door frame and painted.
Same with the door. This was a major entryway for the workers, so it got a lot of wear and tear.
I installed the deadbolt in the sunroom. Experts say that polished chrome doesn't do well on the exterior.
I may come to agree with them, but if you ask me, the brass ones didn't age very well either.
This is the deadbolt inside the sunroom. The new levers are out for delivery and should arrive any minute.
We had a little water stain from when the A/C drain got stopped up a couple of years ago. I had an old can of ceiling paint in a can. I made a little tent out of a plastic bag.
Looks like it did the job.
I cleaned the entryway and hosed it down. We have another week or so before our building permit comes down. We've had three of them since 2023 hanging in the same place. The city inspectors have to sign off on the construction, electrical, and plumbing before it comes down.
I cleaned the front wall and upper window
The back windows
These I just hosed off. I'll use windex another day.
I scrubbed this door and hosed it off.
We hardly ever use this back door to the bathroom, so it gets neglected. Maybe with our new door hardware we'll keep it clean.
I had to head indoors because of a thunderstorm, but I'll get back to the side windows and garage door soon.
Our new door handles arrived late in the afternoon, too late to install today.
I'll get to them tomorrow.
Just for kicks, I held one up at the front door to see how it looked. But these three are going to the laundry room/garage, bathroom, and sunroom doors.
Last walk of the day. Happy 5th birthday, Toby!

Happy Birthday Tobyπππππ
