The A/C guy arrived at 9:00 after we walked Toby and then added a walk just for us. The installation guy surveyed our situation. I could tell that he saw the same constraints on the south wall that I did. A mini split unit could work but it would be a tight fit and aesthetically awkward. None of the other walls were suitable. I reminded him that his company had installed our central unit in 2019 and was there any way to just add ducts to the main line in the attic and run them into the ceiling in the sunroom.
He did some research and calculations and said that we had excess tonnage capacity to run two lines into the sunroom ceiling. The cost would be less than 25% of the cost of a mini split unit. They will do the work beginning Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, our contractor will remove the wall unit, patch the hole, and convert the outlet into a normal wall outlet that we can use for our computer.
After the A/C guy left, I hopped on my bike and headed for Clearwater Beach while John jogged in the neighborhood.
It was 79 degrees at 11 in the morning.
I stretched and then stopped at Weaver Park in Dunedin on the way home for strength training.

BRAVO on the AC installation. Brillant suggestion you made to your A/C Company.
